Taking place over three days, the advanced course focuses on repertoire, technique, and healthy piano playing, and is ideal for pianists of Grade 8 and above who are preparing for concerts, competitions, diplomas or auditions, or for anyone experiencing technical problems, physical tension, injuries or nerves.
The course is run as a series of informal masterclasses with plenty of opportunities for discussion and exchange of ideas and ends with a concert on Sunday afternoon. Limited to nine students per course for maximum participation. Occasionally a scholarship can be offered to an outstanding student.
Fee: £210 (ISM and EPTA members £195). Full-time music students £120.
Courses are held at Penelope Roskell’s London studio in Stoke Newington, N16 5UQ.
